High School Meets:  Our high swimmers did an outstanding job of representing their high school teams as well as Orinda Aquatics at their meets this past weekend. Orinda Aquatics swimmers were all over the finals and relays at the NCS and Oakland Section swim meets. Congratulations to ALL Orinda Aquatics swimmers and good luck to our State Meet qualifiers who will travel to Clovis this weekend for the CIF State Meet.

iOlympic Trials Swim: Congratulations to Indiana bound senior group swimmer, Harry Flanders, who posted a 54.07 in the long course 100 meter butterfly at the Post NCS Walk-on meet to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Trials.

Outreach/Orinda Aquatics in the Community: Cristina Bensadoun, our Outreach Director, spent an afternoon with the Oaklantis Swim Team (Oakland), and the Richmond Sailfish (Richmond). Over the years Orinda Aquatics has supported these two teams with equipment, donations, and mentoring. Both are doing truly inspirational work in these inner-city communities with children who otherwise might not have the opportunity to learn to swim or to enjoy the benefits of a competitive team. Our Outreach donations will allow us to assist these programs in a more impactful way, as well as help the other organizations we are looking to serve.
