Practice is for the formation of mindful Good Habits that will take us to race day! There is lots of brainpower that is needed during practice! Help your child write down what they are working on today as their first step in Goal Setting. You can print the attachment to help guide your child in goals and connect what we are working on.

Jobs Update (for Summer Swimmers)
Our swim meets and socials start on May 18 with time trials and our
first dual meet on May 22. The swim team is run entirely by
volunteers and cannot survive without volunteer help from all of
our families! There are several
different jobs available to suit every family’s
schedule. This is your opportunity to be involved and help our
team continue to run to support our kids. Review
the jobs descriptions on the website here: https://www.teamunify.
• This year every family will be responsible for volunteering at 6-8 dual meets (note: May 18 th’s time trial also counts toward the job requirement). Final number of required jobs will be determined after registration is completed.
• There is a $500 volunteer deposit due by time trials. Please provide a check made out to Walnut Creek Swim Club and give it to Aimee or John Murphy or Chad Davis. The check is refundable and will either be returned to you or destroyed at the end of the season once you have completed all of your dual meet, All City, and Conference job requirements. Swimmers will not be permitted to participate in meets until his/her family provides the volunteer deposit so please bring this check to Time Trials to avoid any delays.
• We are recruiting parents for stroke and turn positions. S&T volunteers will be on the pool deck in the thick of the action! Training will be provided. S&T parents will not be required to do additional dual meet jobs. If you are interested in being part of the stroke and turn team, please contact email@example.com.
• Jobs sign-ups for the season will be released on Wednesday (5/15 before time trials).
