BSC to Host Olympian!
We are extremely excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for our athletes, parents and coaches.  Using proceeds from the Swim-A-Thon, we have arranged for 2012 Olympian and Gold Medalist Breeja Larson to come and do a swim clinic exclusively with us at Freedom Hall on Saturday June 1.
Breeja  attended  Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2014,  where she swam for the   Aggies   swimming and diving team in   NCAA competition and won a national title in the 100 yard breaststroke.
In 2012, Breeja won Olympic Trials in the 100 meter breaststroke, securing her spot on the Olympic Team.  In the London Olympics, Breeja earned a gold medal in the 400 Medley Relay, swimming breaststroke, and finished 6th in the 100 meter breaststroke individual event.
Breeja will work in two separate sessions.  Session 1 (8:10 AM-10:45 AM) will be reserved for athletes who are rising 6th graders and younger, and Session 2 (10:30 AM to 2:45 PM) for those who are rising 7th graders and older.  The sessions will consist of a stroke clinic with all 4 strokes, starts, and turns, along with motivational speeches tailored to the younger and older age groups.
Breeja will be able to sign 2 items for each child, and there will be the opportunity to wear and take a picture with her Olympic Gold Medal!  Breeja will also offer the athletes the opportunity to purchase American Flag Larson caps for $10.
Please sign up via this link by Wednesday May 15 toi indicate interest and ability to attend:
