Exciting Senior Team News

Some interesting and exciting things are happening with the Senior program here at the Elmbrook Swim Club.

Michael Linnihan & Reilly Tiltmann were selected as male & female athletes of the year at the Journal Sentinel High School Sports Awards. Super proud that they both came from the same program here at Elmbrook! Pretty cool to have the award presented to them by the GOAT Michael Phelps!



Michael Linnihan, Kaylyn Schoof, Reilly Tiltmann, & Maggie Wanezek will be competing against some of the fastest in USa Swimming including many USA National & Olympic Team members this weekend at the TYR Pro Series in Bloomington, Indiana. Maggie Wanezek was honored to be selected to the Central Zone Select Camp over Memorial Day weekend in Cincinatti, Ohio. USA Swimming sponsors four Zone Select Camps to identify the emerging young athletes in each Zone. The Zone Select Camps are viewed as an integral step for athletes to move from the local and Zone level onto to the national scene.



The Elmbrook Swim Club has been selected as one of 35 clubs to have a USA Swimming Club Development Mentor Coach visit in 2019. USA Swimming awards these visits to teams that have shown a national presence and improvement. Ed Spencer, one of two USA Swimming Mentor Coach Consultants and will be coming to visit the Elmbrook Swim Club Senior Team and Coaching Staff June 10th-13th.



The Elmbrook Swim Club was awarded USA Swimming’s Club Excellence Silver Medal as one of the top 100 performing clubs under the USA Swimming banner. As such EBSC was given a grant to purchase three power towers by USA Swimming which are currently being shipped and will be put to good use soon.
