NEW MINOR ATHLETE ABUSE PROTECTION POLICY (MAAPP)

USA Swimming has implemented a Safe Sport policy to ensure the safety of all athletes under the age of 18. Connecticut Swimming is requesting that all teams implement this policy immediately to ensure that swimmers remain safe while participating in this sport.

This policy has a wide scope and not all aspects pertain to our members.  However, in order to implement this policy as requested, as a PAC guardian, we ask that you read through the entire policy.  Parents of swimmers must sign an acknowledgement confirming that you have read the information.  For this season, parents of athletes in the Competition A, Senior, Senior Elite A and Senior Elite B practice squads must sign the acknowledgement.  Failure to do so will make your swimmer inelegible for meets.

The policy and signature page can be found under the MAAPP tab on the website.

Please direct any questions you may have to the team.
