9th Annual Michelle Moore Invitational Swim Meet Report

Saskatoon Goldfins 2019 Senior Provincial Team Continues to Grow

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club attended the 9th Annual Michelle Moore Swim Meets, Regina, SK, May 31 – June 2, 2019.  The Goldfins are proud to announce the newest members of the 2019 Goldfins Senior Provincial Team: Obi Nguyen, Lucas Peng, Daniel Hofer, and Jane Gurney.  These Goldfins will travel to Winnipeg, MB in July 2019 to compete in the 2019 Long Course Senior Provincial Championships.

Aaliyah Rodriguez has qualified to attend the 2020 Junior Provincial Championships, as she posted a Saskatchewan A Long Course qualifying time in the 50M Freestyle.

Goldfins’ Avrin Bautista graduated from the Saskatchewan Novice Graduation Standard program by achieving qualifying times in the 200M Freestyle & in the 100M IM.

This past weekend, 63 Goldfins swimmers participated in both the Age Group side of the meet and in the Development/Novice side of the meet.  The Club posted 207 personal best long course times.

Congratulations to the Goldfins who posted 100% personal best times: Avrin Bautista, Justin Cole, Keiran Dyck, Jane Gurney, Sara Larocque, Andrew Nghiem, Obi Nguyen, Lucas Peng, and Aaliyah Rodriguez.

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club would like to thank the Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim Club for hosting these meets.

 

The Goldfins will be back in action at the Blue vs White vs Gold Time Trial on June 14, 2019.
