It's that time of year to go back to basics, re-evaluate areas that need to be tweaked, and focus on developing some important mindset skills for the season ahead. Whether you are a parent or coach of an adolescent athlete, you know the importance of resilience - being able to bounce back from mistakes and tough games, being able to look at hard training sessions from the lens of challenge, and doing the work required to achieve your goals even when you don't feel like doing the work. You know the value of sound mindset skills when it comes to sport and life. Here’s a great way to help young adolescent athletes develop resilience skills.
