Dardis Breaks Club Record at CSI

Last weekend the Cascade Swim Club hosted the annual International competition.  This year’s meet attracted team’s from Germany, Texas, Saskatchewan, and the best of Alberta.

Killarney sent a contingent of 41 Swimmers.  The team racked up 203 personal best times, 1 club record, and 12 individual medals.

Paul Dardis won Gold in the 1500 Free.  He also won Silver in the 200 Free, breaking his own club record by 2 seconds.  Isaac To, took the Gold in the 100 Breast.  He also added three silver medals in the 400 IM, 50 Breast and 200 Breast.

Matthew MacDonald earned a pair of bronze medals in the 200 Free and 100 Fly.  Kate MacLean won bronze in the 100 Fly.   Victoria Strom also earned a pair of bronze medals in the sprint fly events and qualified for the AB Champs.  Katie Thompson won bronze in the 800 Free.

Peng Peng Xu and Shaela Rideout both added their names to the AB Championship rosters.
