Wow, what a great finish to the season for our 6 provincial level swimmers.
Tommaso D, age 15, swimming at his first Ontario Provincial (Senior)Championship meet, swam his way to best times in the 200 fly, 100 fly and 200 free, qualifying for second swims in the 100 fly and 200 free. He ended up placing 10th in these events and 12th in the 200 fly. He finishes his season, qualified for the next age group in the 100 and 200 fly at the Junior provincial level and just outside the qualifying times for Easterns.
Ontario Junior Youth Provincial meet qualifier, Aislinn M, age 16, swam to 2 personal best times on her way to qualifiying for finals in the 100 and 200 fly. She finished 8th and 5th respectively and also is now qualified for the next age group qualifying times at the Jr provincial level.
Tristen A-L, age 15, competed in the 100 and 200 breast, bringing home a bronze medal in the 200 breast and a 4th place finish in the 100 breast. She also ends up qualfied for the Jr prov meet in the next age group.
Niko O, age 15, swam to best times in the 100 and 200 fly, placing 10th and 12th respectively in these events.
Keegan L, age 14, swam to best long course times, in the 100 and 200 breast, and also finishes the season, with qualifying times for next season.
Matt C, age 15, swam to a best time in the 100 free, finishing 13th in this event.
Swimmers trained hard for this event and the work they put in paid off!
