Congratulations to all our swimmers for a fast weekend at the 71st Annual Keo Nakama Invitational last weekend! Thank you to all our parents who volunteered to be timers and to our two families who took the tents to and from the meet!!
The biggest percentage time improvements for each age group include:
8 year old, Koanui Keaulana, improved his 100 Breaststroke time by 6% by dropping 8 seconds with a time of 2:00.93.
9 year old, Jalen Bond, improved his 100 Free time by 10% by dropping 11 seconds with a final time of 1:35.77.
10 year old, Gabriel Stefanov, improved his 50 Free time by 22% by dropping 11 seconds with a final time of 39.73.
11 year old, Abby Monahan, improved her 400 Free time by 8% by dropping 29 seconds with a final time of 5:08.95.
12 year old, Jayden Ching, improved her 100 Fly time by 12% by dropping 13 seconds with a final time of 1:35.48.
And congratulations to Kimie Ginoza for qualifying for states for the first time by dropping 16 seconds in the 400 free!
13 year old, Nikki Centra, improved her 200 Breast by 13% by dropping 30 seconds with a final time of 3:10.42.
14 year old, Knut Robinson, improved his 200 Back by 3% by dropping 5 seconds with a final time of 2:39.96.
In the Open division, 16 year old, Sydney Kau, improved her 200 Fly by 8% by dropping 17 seconds with a final time of 3:00.63.
Individual high point winners were Leila Nasrallah (13), Grace Monahan (15), Paulina Ruelas (Open), and Tyler Kawakami (Open). Congrats, everyone! Thanks for an awesome meet!
