Fall 2019 Novice Information

New Swimmer Evaluations @ Arrowhead HS -> Tuesday, August 27th, 6:00 pm

New Swimmer Evaluations @ Hartford HS -> Wednesday, September 4th, 5:00 pm

New swimmers begin with an evaluation to determine the most appropriate place to start on our team and most new swimmers begin in our Novice Program.  The information below is specifically about the novice sessions available this fall.  If your swimmer has previous competitive swimming experience or has skills that we believe are ready for the Age Group Program, we will let you know during the evaluations and provide you with additional information at that time.

Whitney Witt, our Novice Program Director, will meet with parents during the evaluations.  No need to pre-register or sign-up in advance.  You can also find this information on our swim team website within the Current Events section.

In the fall we have 3 sessions available to novice swimmers.  You may participate in any or all of them.
We will have two Pre-Competitive Swim Class (PCSC) sessions.  The classes allow swimmers to work on the skills required for advancement without scheduled competitions.  There are eight 50-minute classes in each PCSC.  The cost is $80 per session.
We will also have one Ribbons session this fall.  This sessions adds the excitement of swim meets to the beginning swimmer's experience.  In addition to regular practices, the kids participate in 3 low-key and fun swim meets at Arrowhead HS.  Practice focus is still on skill work and advancement in the program, with some time spent on swim meet preparations.  The cost for this 6-week session, including meets, is $160.

Online registration will open for returning members on August 15th.  New members can begin registering after the evaluations.

If you have any questions, prior to the evaluations, you may call the office (262-367-7657) or email Whitney (wjk416@hotmail.com.)
