Indiana Swimmers Compete for Team USA at the
FINA World Junior Championships in Budapest

Jake Mitchell & Wyatt Davis (both of Carmel Swim Club) are 2 of the Forty-five of the nation’s top junior swimmers competing at the 2019 FINA World Junior Championships, Aug. 20-25 in Budapest, Hungary. The six-day event will feature over 1,200 athletes from 106 countries, competing for the title of World Junior champion at the state-of-the-art Duna Arena.  Both qualified for this event by their top performances at the Phillips 66 National Championships in Palo Alto, CA

*On the first day of competition Jake Mitchell finish 4th in the 400 Freestyle in a 3:47.95.  That lowers his own 17-18 ISI IAR and is Number 2 among Americans (all ages) in 2019.
