PEAQ's Josh Matheny took SILVER in today's 100m finals at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championship in Budapest Hungary.
Josh swam a personal best time of 1:00.17 and improved on his National 15-16 year old Age Group Record finishing 0.20 second behind Vladislav Gerasimenko of Russia (59.97). An amazing swim by Josh!
Josh quickly turned around to swim the breaststroke leg on the 4x100 mixed medley relay, taking FIRST PLACE! TEAM USA's Will Grant, Josh Matheny, Torri Huske and Gretchen Walsh swam a 3:44.84 setting a new World Junior Record (18 & Under).
Josh has Thursday off but he'll be back in action Friday in the 200m Breaststroke.
