Parent Meeting will occur towards the end of September (date TBD)
at the NHS Forum Room. This is a great opportunity to come,
ask questions and learn specifics on what to expect during the
year. We are also working to have our current year Spirit
Wear options available to try on as well as team suits for the
year. More to come on this meeting in the next
parent meeting, we will be having a team suit fitting night.
We will be working with Sun and Snow this year to provide a few
options for your swimmer. Again, more information to
currently seeking volunteers to join our Board of Directors for the
upcoming year. Our current positions filled and open are as
President: Betsy Veliu
Director: Chris Cadwell
Coordinator: Lisa Carson
Director: Brian Vanairsdale
Director: Sara Zaremski (last year… looking for a
volunteer to shadow)
Director: Danielle Holland and Karen Reinowski
in desperate need of a volunteer for the Treasurer
position. I have filled this role for the past five
years and need to transition it to another member of the
club. Please reach out to me if you are able and willing to
help. Additionally, this will be Sara Zaremski’s last
year as the Volunteer Coordinator. If you are interested in
this position, please let me know as this year is a great
opportunity to shadow Sara and learn the ropes before she moves
on. We are also working this year to create a few parent
sub-committees to help organize team activities, our annual
banquet, etc. If you are interested in helping with the club,
please feel free to reach out to me directly.
please keep in mind, the Board of Directors, including myself, is
comprised of parent volunteers. We work together to help your
children and this club thrive. Always know that you can reach
out to me at any time with any questions you may have including
meets, dues, calendar snafu’s I may have made, upcoming team
events, etc. I will do my best to respond to you
quickly. I have two swimmers with BAC, Aidan (13) and Addison
(11) who are both Bulldogs so hopefully I will bump into you at NHS
on any given day this year. Addison also plays travel
basketball and travel softball in Northville (which I coach).
Additionally I work full-time as a financial analyst and have third
daughter who is a competitive gymnast. It’s busy, but
it’s worth it.
welcome you to BAC and look forward to seeing you at the
pool! More updates to follow as we finalize the Short-Course
meet schedule, the parent meeting and our Fall team event!
