Morgan Ray Completes Season in Lima

Morgan Ray in six finals at Para Pan-Am Games in Lima Peru this past week.

Morgan Ray's name was announced for six different finals as he paraded out to more than three thousand excited fans.  He was representing team USA at the Para Pan-Am Games in Lima - complete with black USA racing cap emblazoned with "Ray".    The was his first major international competition, Morgan swam finals in six events. No other swimmer in the meet swam six events. He posted best times in 5 of 6 swims including a new national team cut in the 100 breaststroke where he placed fourth.

Coach Cameron Bendetsen was inspired watching an morgan navigate the stresses and other variables of international competition race with intent, purpose, grit, focus and all while having fun.  Morgan represented Team USA and Bolles with his versatility in the pool and sportsmanship out of the pool. He made a point to wait for every swimmer to exit the pool so he could congratulate them. In the six days of competition Morgan was able to write the next chapter of his own story while proudly representing Bolles.

Thank you Morgan and Coach Cameron!
