WEEKLY EMAILS

A weekly email will be sent out on Wednesdays every week with information on the next 7-10 days.  This will be the first method of distributing information to all the groups on Delaware Swim Team.  The administrative staff will occasionally send group-specific emails to supplement information in the weekly emails, or to provide updates later in the week for information mentioned in the weekly email.  Please make sure to read through the weekly emails thoroughly, and read through any additional emails sent out by administrators to the team or your swimmer's practice group.

These weekly emails will also be posted on the team website, delawareswimteam.com, as news items in case you ever delete an email and need information from it later.  Weekly emails will remain on the team website for 15 days.  So, today's email will be available on the team website until noon on September 19.

PRACTICE CHANGES

Brandywine School District let us know on Tuesday the 3rd that the PS DuPont location will be closed for renovations for three weeks.  We are told it should be available beginning on September 23.  Families that plan on using PS DuPont as their primary practice location are welcome to use their group-specific practices at the other practice locations, or may contact us at office@delawareswimteam.com for more options.

MEET SCHEDULE

The meet schedule for all practice groups is being finalized by the coaching staff.  This full meet schedule should be available on the team website some time next week.

The Pink Out! A/BB/C meet for 9 & overs (formerly called the Banana Boat meet) will be the weekend of October 12-13.  The Pink Out! Mini meet for 8 & unders (formerly the Pumpkin Patch meet) is also the weekend of October 12-13.  Sign-ups for this meet will open in a couple weeks.

MIDDLE ATLANTIC TRANSFER FORMS

If your swimmer switched over this year to Delaware Swim Team from another USA Swimming team, you will need to fill out a transfer form for your swimmer.  The transfer form is available here.  When filling out the form, please make sure to include the team that your swimmer was last registered through USA Swimming with, and the team's club code.  For the team that your swimmer is transferring to, the club is Delaware Swim Team, and the club code is DST.

When you have filled out the form, please either drop it off at the Pike Creek office, or email a digital copy to office@delawareswimteam.com.

There is a transfer fee of $10 for swimmers transferring from one Middle Atlantic club to another Middle Atlantic club.  There is no transfer fee for swimmers coming from another LSC besides Middle Atlantic.

Swimmers returning to Delaware Swim Team from last season obviously do not need to fill out a transfer form.  Swimmers who are returning from longer ago but never were on another USA Swimming team do not need to fill out a transfer form.

Thanks,
The Delaware Swim Team coaching staff
