With the help of the wonderful staff at Woodbury Pewter along with dear friend, Marcus, the Funderburk family has designed an ornament that will be sold and distributed during the month of November.
"Otto had so many amazing traits, so we were able to represent all 19 on both the front and back. All money from purchases will go directly to the Otto Funderburk Memorial Fund.
This ornament represents a holiday tradition Otto loved. Every weekend after Thanksgiving, we’d venture out to Candy Cane Hill to pick and cut a fresh Christmas tree, usually with a group of friends. We’d get an ornament from Jones Farm, just like this one. Then we’d come home and decorate the tree together laughing and having fun with each other. It was a day long event that usually ended with a movie like Elf. We hope that this ornament adds a little something to your holiday that brings joy and reminds you of Otto’s caring heart, laughter, joy, positivity and friendship.
Christmas was a special holiday in Otto’s eyes. From going to pick and cut our fresh tree, making his list for Santa, to opening gifts on that magical day. This is a little something that holds such a big meaning. Whether you purchase it to place on your tree, or use it as decoration in your house, know that Otto’s spirit will be with you."
Let's remember Otto with this beautiful ornament this holiday season.
