OLSC Swim Families,

Welcome back to the pool! I hope everyone enjoyed their summer break and are ready to get back into the swing of things. It’s so nice to see all of the kids splashing around in the water again and we have many new faces to welcome to the club!

There are a few things of importance I wanted to highlight since I could not be present at the parents meeting. The 2019-2020 meet schedule is posted on the clubs website and was emailed to all parents. We highly encourage all swimmers to participate in as many meets as possible, and for families to proudly wear their OLSC gear. We must have a minimum of 5 swimmers registered per meet in order form OLSC to travel as a team.

Due to all of the recent changes regarding USA Swimming’s Safe Sport program, I have invited Leo Gibbons, Niagara LSC Safety Chair, to speak with our with parents, athletes, officials, board members and coaches about the importance of SAFE sport on September 26th. I am REQUIRING at least one family member to attend this extremely important presentation. Senior A & B practices will be rescheduled to Saturday morning. If you have any questions about this presentation, you can reach out to me or OLSC Safe Sport Coordinator, Crystal Weigand.

Thursday, September 26th
Marano Campus Center Room 201, SUNY Oswego (parking is free on campus)

Just a reminder, if your swimmer can not make practice or will be late please notify your swimmers coach.

See you on the pool deck!
Coach Megan
