Team Volunteer Coordinator- Introduction

Team Volunteer Coordinator Announcement

As we all know, the success and integrity of all swim clubs is largely dependent on the many family volunteers that dedicate their time and talents to their clubs at meets, fundraisers, banquets, etc.

Paseo Aquatics is excited to announce, Mrs. Rebecca Hindman as the new Volunteer Coordinator for Paseo Aquatics.  Rebecca will work closely with the group liaisons and staff in preparation for hosted meets, away meets, fundraisers, etc.

Rebecca is the parent of three children (a son and two daughters) and currently has one competitive swimmer. She is originally from the east coast and moved to Santa Clarita in 2017 after spending 19 years in Tucson, Arizona. She is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona.

Her swim parent journey began in 2008 with swim lessons which led to a small summer team, the DeMont Frogs, in 2012.  In 2013, year-round swimming for her daughter started with Tucson Ford Aquatics and then moved to Flying Fish of Southern Arizona to help minimize the commute for her family.

Volunteering and swim safety have been a passion of Rebecca’s ever since she started volunteering and working within the swim environment. She has been a Volunteer Coordinator in Arizona as well as with her previous team in Santa Clarita. She loves working with people, encouraging new families to learn all about helping the team, helping to make our swim meets a positive experience for all, and maintaining Safe Sport Certified credentials for the safety and security of our swimmers.

Rebecca will be on hand during the Fall Kickoff Meet this weekend. Please take a moment to say hello and welcome her to the family of Paseo Aquatics.
