What an outstanding County Meet! From top to bottom and from inside the pool area and outside the pool area, it was an incredible meet. I would like to thank everyone for either donating items or volunteering their time. Coaches are all ready telling me that want LCN to host County again next year.
As far as the meet and the preformance of the swimmers, I could not have been more proud in the manor in which the team competed. This is the first ever County meet that I have coached where ever single swim was either a season best time or a personal best time.
The team attained a Division 1 State cut in the 200 Free Relay (Lauren Paris, Brianne Lowe, Sara Bauer & Hannah Gurecki). Three swimmers also attained MISCA cuts in individual events - Sara Bauer - 50 Free & 100 Free, Emma Dutkiewicz - 100 Back and MacKenzie Owensby - 100 Breast.
The following swimmers had their season best swims in the following events: All three relays, Lauren Paris - 200, 50 & 100 Free, Brianne Lowe - 200 & 100 Free & 100 Back, Kayla Owensby - 200 Free, Olivia Perfili - 200 & 500 Free, Emma Dutkiewicz - 50 Back, 200 IM & 100 Back, Tori Beels - 200 IM, Hannah Gurecki - 50 Free & 100 Breast & Jenna Bliss - 100 Breast.
The following swimmers had LIFETIME best times in the following events: Sara Bauer - 50 & 100 Free, AnnDee Geddes - 50 & 100 Free, Tori Beels - 100 Fly, MacKenzie Owensby - 100 Free & 100 Breast, Makayla Owensby - 500 Free and Avery Brown - 500 Free.
As I mentioned, this is the first County meet I have ever coached where I had 100% either lifetime best times or season best times. I could not be more proud in the manor in whcih the girls achieved their 3rd place finish.
