My swim career though short was very impactful to me, I swam 4 years at John Marshall High school and for two years at Swim Pasadena. I decided after high school, I’d make a much better coach than athlete.

My coaching influences are John Wooden and Eddie Reese and hope to embody both their character and influence on kids’ lives.

I started coaching at my high school John Marshall High for two years before I made the change to club coaching. I was the senior 2 coach at La Mirada Armada before accepting a Head Coaching position at the El Segundo Armada Site. I coached that site for 4 years along with 3 years coaching a 2nd place CIF Division 3 El Segundo High school team. At the time we had many Senior and Sectional Swimmers and helped the main Armada site win Winter JO’s in 2011.

After leaving El Segundo I went back to La Mirada to be the Assistant National team Coach to Rick Shipherd for the national group, and eventually moving back to the Senior level that I’ve worked with up until now. I have been a part of many Metro Championship Teams and Summer Sectional Championship team with Armada.

I also hold a certification with Starting Strength Coaching and am currently working on my ASCA level 2 certification.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles CA, I’ve been coaching over 10 years and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with kids and have a positive impact on them every day.
