ACAC Hosts Lois Weir Invitational

Atomic City Aquatic Club (ACAC) recently hosted the Lois Weir Invitational in Oak Ridge.  The swimmers demonstrated that they are poised for a successful season, making Southeastern cuts, winning races and overall being part of a great event.

A number of ACAC swimmers made Southeastern cuts.  Kuba Shaw (12) made Southeasterns in all eleven races he swam and won the 50 Back.  Camden Gerchar (14) made Southeasterns in his eight events and won six.  Abigail King (15) made Southeasterns in four events, winning nine.  Stephen Zhukov (13) made Southeastern cuts in six events, winning four.  Harper Houk (18) made Southeasterns in five events that he also won.  Karol Shaw (10) made Southeastern cuts in five events, winning three. Zack Telep (17) made Southeasterns in four events and won three.  Andrew Chou (13) made Southeasterns in the 200 Breast and won seven events.  Tais Brown (15) won the 200 Fly and made three Southeastern cuts.

Other swimmers won races.  Benjamin Martin (7) won three events.  Sarah Walker (17) won the 200 Fly.  Savannah Brennan (15) won the 400 IM.  Jessica King (15) won the 500 Free.  Margaret Froning (16) won the 200 Breast.  Hallie Hill (9) won the 500 Free.  Charlie Rockafellow (8) won the 25 Free.
