Coaches and Team Reps,
On the front page of the Penn-Del (PD) web site at http://www.penndelswim.org, there is currently a list of 22 PD Clinics and 17 Y-USA Swim Officials Certification classes.
The League is doing its part by making these clinics available. It is now your turn to see that the appropriate number of parent volunteers from your team attend these clinics. Remember that PD clinics are an annual requirement for the roles of Referee, Admin Official, and Hytek MEETMANAGER Operator.
At this point, very few clinics will be added to the schedule. If your volunteer Referees, AOs, and MM Operators have not attended one of this year's annual clinics yet, they should consider selecting the closest appropriate clinic from the current listing and notifying the instructor that they will be attending.
- Each team must provide a Penn-Del Clinic Certified Referee for all home meets (either from your team or the visiting team)
- Each team must provide a Penn-Del Clinic Certified Admin Official for all home meets (either from your team or the visiting team)
- Each team must provide a Penn-Del Clinic Certified Meet Manager Operator for all home meets (either from your team or the visiting team)
Y-USA SWIM OFFICIAL CLASSES
Also, on the front page of the PD web site is a listing of Y-USA Swim Officials certification classes. Parents who would like to become a certified Y Swim Officials or parents who are currently certified but need to recertify should plan to attend one of the appropriate classes.
Have a great season and please let any of the PD Board members know if you have any a question, problem, or issue. We are here to help make your season a success.
