It was an incredible Fall Invitational meet for our LY swimmers this year.  Lots of records and individual highlights to mention:

She had 5 lifetime best swims including a big 14-second drop in the 400 IM...Drew Mahland recorded 5 new lifetime bests, most impressively a 3-second drop in the 100 breast...Kaelyn Mahland won the 100 breast & 200 free and swam to 5 new lifetime bests (-6 in the 200 breast) plus made her debut in the 200 back and 400 IM...Ethan Malone completed the 100 fly and 50 back for the first time and dropped almost 10 seconds in the 500 free...Tanner Malone successfully completed the 100 fly and 100 breast, taking 2nd place in the butterfly...Grant Manning made his LY debut in the 25 & 100 breast, 50 back, and 25 free, winning the 25 free in an impressive 18.04...Haven Manning was victorious in the 100 fly and was top 3 in all four of his events...Michael Marotta had a big swim in the 200 IM, dropping 2 seconds in his final swim on Saturday...Skylar McCurley shed almost 3 seconds from her previous best time in the 200 breast...Samuel Mejia-Ibarra was "lights out" with 100% best times and an outstanding 36-second drop in the 200 free...Santiago Mejia-Ibarra recorded 3 new lifetime bests, including a 7-second drop in the 50 breast...Sofia Mejia-Ibarra raced to 3 new personal bests, with an impressive 15-second improvement in the 50 breast...Jeb Milam counted 4 best times among his swims, including a debut 200 breaststroke with a 4th place finish...Josie Milam went her best time in the 25 free and placed top-10 in two events...Lizzie Milam had an amazing 46-second drop in the 50 free and completed the 25 back legally for the first time...Spencer Miles delivered the W in the 50 free, placed 2nd in the 100 free, and swam a new best time in the 200 free...Luke Morrison had an incredible meet, going 100% best times over 9 events in all 4 strokes and placing top-5 in 7 events. His most notable drop was a 19-second improvement in the 100 backstroke...Aidan Moss had an awesome 4 lifetime best swims, dropping an incredible 18 seconds in the 100 free...Anya Muminovic placed top-3 in all 8 of her individual events, winning the 50 breast and setting new personal bests in the 100 free, 500 free, and 100 IM...Liam Muminovic placed top-4 in seven events with 8 new lifetime bests (big drops of 12 seconds in the 50 breast and 27 seconds in the 500 free) in addition to making his debut in the 100 fly and 200 back...Brandon Naylor was 2nd in the 200 fly and 3rd in the 400 IM the morning after returning from a recruiting trip...Broderick Nelson put up an impressive 7 new lifetime best times with big drops of 8, 17, and 6 seconds in the 200 IM, 500 free,and 200 free respectively.  He was also top-6 in all of his events...Caroline Nelson raced tough on Saturday, narrowly missing her best time in the 25 free...Natalie Nivens recorded four new best times at the meet, including a 6-second drop in the 50 back, and debut performances in the 100 back and 50 fly...Alora Nkete made her first SCY swims for LY with solid swims in the 50-100-200 free and 50 fly...Matthew Palzewicz dropped an incredible 30 seconds in the 100 breast and made his debut in the 500 free...Mason Patterson set new personal bests in the 25 and 50 free and made his debut in the 50 back...Ella Pennington swam to 4 new lifetime bests, including a big 7-second drop in the 100 IM and her debut in the 100 breast...Lainey Pennington recorded 5 new personal bests, beating her previous 25 and 50 free times while making her first LY swims in the 25 breast, 50 back, and 100 free...Rome Petrikonis won 5 events (25 breast, 50 back, 100 free, 50 breast, and 50 fly) with 5 new best times, her debuts in the 50 breast and 50 fly, and every swim a 1st or 2nd place finish...Daniel Pettyjohn won the 100 breast in meet record time and was 2nd in the 200 IM and 200 breast...Ro Phillips had an amazing meet, dropping 36 seconds in her 500 free and 44 in her 400 IM on her way to 6 new lifetime bests, four event wins, and her SCY debut in the 200 breast (a win)...Emma Prater swam 5 new lifetime bests, most notably a 13-second drop in the 50 back to go with her debut in the 100 IM...Gabe Provost battled illness to nearly match his best time in the 50 free...Ethan Ream put up five new personal bests including his debut 500 free and an amazing 3-second drop in the 50 free...Ava Rempfer won the 25 back with an impressive 4.5-second improvement and made her debut swims in the 100 back and 50 breast...Owen Rempfer was 3-for-3 best times, dropping 2 seconds in his 100 free and making his debut in the 200 IM...Hudson Rice was 100% best times with event wins in the 500 free (-12 seconds) and 200 fly (boom!), an 8-second drop in the 200 breast, and a 4-second drop in the 200 IM. Hudson was 1st or 2nd in all of his individual events...Brent Riner dropped 4 seconds in the 200 back and raced to a new personal best in the 100 free...Mitchell Rogers won the 50 fly, made his debut in the 200 fly, and delivered a 3-second drop in the 200 IM...Liam Rojas swam to 5 new lifetime bests, including his debut 200 breast and a win in the 50 breast...Owen Rojas raced to 3 new personal bests on Sunday in the 50 free, 200 breast, and 50 fly...Caroline Russell raced to 3 new lifetime bests, most notably drops of 2.5 and 5.4 seconds in the 100 and 200 butterfly...Chloe Sanders sprinted to 6 new personal bests, including double-digit drops in the 100 free & 100 IM plus a 6-second improvement in the 50 free and her debut in the 50 fly for a 2nd-place finish...Dallas Sanders went a new best time in the 25 back and making his debut in the 50 back...Connor Sauls won the 100 fly, 200 IM, and 200 free, placing top-3 in all of his events and edging under the previous meet record in the 100 breast...Charlie Schindler swam to four best times in the 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 breast, and 200 free...Evan Schonfelder went a best time in the 100 back and put together solid legs on both relays...Max Schonfelder swam a best time in the 50 free and placed 4th in the 100 breast just a hair off his best time...Abby Scott dropped an impressive 4 seconds in the 100 free...Avery Scott improved by more than 2 sconds in her 100 free and made her LY debut in the 100 breast and 200 back...Josh Searwar had an amazing meet, going 100% best times in 8 events including drops of 3, 5, and 7 seconds in the 100 IM, 100 breast, and 100 free, respectively.  Josh also made his LY debut in the 200 breast and 50 fly...Rachel Searwar raced to 100% best times including a double-digit drop in the 500 free and a 3 second improvement in the 100 free...Shasta Searwar was 6-for-6 on best times and was dropping time like it was going out of style.  He improved 10 seconds in the 50 free, 7 in the 50 back, and 15 in the 100 free...Evan Shopbell raced to two best times by over a second in the 100 & 200 breast, and posted a 3rd-place finish in the 200 fly...Worth Sigler made his LY debut in impressive fashion, legally completing 7 events including at least one in all four strokes...Ava Skinner sprinted to an 8th place finish and a new personal best in the 100 breaststroke...Joshua Smith swam 100% best times at the meet, most notably with a nearly 3-second improvement in the 100 fly to edge closer to the 1:00 mark...Avery Snyder was 100% best times on the weekend including improvements of 14, 16, and 19 seconds in the 100s of IM, Free, and Breast and making his LY debuts in the 50 breast, 200 free, and 50 fly...Cameron St. Clair posted new personal bests in the 100 free, 200 back, and 200 free while snagging top-3 honors in the 200 back and 500...Wyatt Sutphin delivered 5 new best times, shattering his best 100 back by 14 seconds and making his debut in the 200 breast and 200 back...Anna Taylor swam her first 50 back and 100 breast for LY...Emily Trautman sprinted to 5 new lifetime bests and won the 500 free. She was top 6 in all 8 of her individual events and top-4 in six...Arleigh Wagoner was 4th in the 100 breast and set a new personal best in the 200 breast at 2:55.73...Sam Wagoner swam 100% best times over the weekend, dropping an incredible 61 seconds in his 500 free and more than 75 seconds in total...Grace Warren swam her fastest-ever 100 fly and was consistently solid all weekend...Joshua Warren was 100% best times with four 2nd-place finishes and seven in the top three.  He also swam the 200 fly for the first time, completing it admirably in 2:52.66...Sarah Warren won all eight of her individual events, dropping time in 5 and swimming the 200 back for the first time. Her 55-second improvement in the 400 IM boggled the stopwatch...Broughton Webb set 6 new personal best times including first-time swims in the 200 breast and 400 IM. She finished second in both the 100 and 200 free...Adam Wells improved by an impressive 5 seconds in his 50 back and raced the 200 IM and 100 breast for the first time...Noah Wells set new personal records in the 50 back & 100 breast and made his debut in the 200 back...Brendan Whitfield won the 100 & 200 back and broke the 2:00 mark for the first time in the 200 back to go 1:58.74...Becca Wigboldy was top-7 in five of her individual events...Owen Williams had a stupendous meet, winning seven individual events, swimming 100% best times, dropping an impressive 9 seconds in his 100 free, and swimming the 200 IM and 100 breast for the first time...Walker Williams competed in his first LY meet and swam well in the 25 free and 25 back...Austin Woodruff won the 50 free, raced to three new best times, and placed 2nd in four events...Graham Woodruff won six events, raced to three new best times, and dropped 13 seconds from his best 200 backstroke time...Taylor Woodruff sprinted to 9 new best times (including relays), beat her best 200 IM by over 8 seconds, and swam her first-ever 200 back...Caleb Wu went his best 100 IM by more than 8 seconds and made his LY debut in the 50 back, 100 breast, 50 free, and 50 fly...Eric Yang raced to a best time in the 50 free by over a second and competed in the 200 breast for the first time...Matthew Yang posted five new lifetime best times including 4- and 6-second improvements in the 100 free and 100 fly and his first LY swims in the 200 breast and 500 free.
