Stingrays News Update - week of 11/11/19

Happy Snowy Veterans Day!

First, a word of heartfelt thanks to the Veterans in our Stingray family! We honor and appreciate your service!!!

We had so many great swims at the NOW meet this past weekend! And, this weekend the STINGRAYS CUT BELT made its debut on the pool deck! We had several swimmers who made new YMCA State and Indy cuts this weekend! Check it out:

Also – major news – the Farmington YMCA pool is back in business! Thank you to everyone for your patience during this crazy couple of weeks.

One more very important note: please ensure that your swimmer is wearing their FFYS TEAM CAP at all swim meets, and ensure that the suit they wear is either a team suit or a plain swim suit. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR SUITS WITH OTHER TEAM NAMES ON THEM AT SWIM MEETS. While we appreciate that you also swim for school teams and summer clubs, please save those suits for when your are competing for that team. In addition, for our female swimmers: suits worn at swim meets MUST HAVE FIXED BACKS. Suits with tie backs are ILLEGAL FOR COMPETITION and may end up getting you DISQUALIFIED.
