Swimmers of the Month
November 23, 2019
For Super Novice, we chose Keiva Peterson - Keiva is a new swimmer this year and shes demonstrated an outstanding work ethic and her positive attitude at every practice makes everyone around her better and happier.
For Junior 1s, we are thrilled to announce Tiera French! Tiera has really grown as a swimmer since moving up to Juniors and she has been really focused this month. We are super proud of the work shes been putting in.
For Junior 2s, we have the one and only Dexi Stewart! Dexi has just started competing at swim meets this year and is already a natural. She brings the fun to practice every day, but has not only challenged herself by joining a harder group, but also asks for more work on the skills shes less confident in. Its that kind of attitude thats sure to lead to more success down the road. Keep it up Dexi!
Our pick for our Senior group comes as no surprise to any of her teammates: Jordyn Stokes. Jordyn has pushed herself out of her comfort zone on multiple occasions and has already started to reap the benefits of her hard work. Jordyn swam the 200 Fly at both the Kamloops and Prince George swim meets and not only shaved off an incredible amount of time for such a quick turnaround but also made Provincials in what was once a scary race for her. We are so happy with the progress Jordyn has been making and we know with her work ethic, she will continue to reach and exceed her goals.
