CONGRATULATIONS to all our swimmers (almost 180) who competed at the Nothers Invitational last weekend. Here are some numbers to chew on:
1078 - total number of personal bests (including swims successfully raced for the very first time!)
80.6 - % of personal bests out of total swims
73 - the # of swimmers with 100% personal bests
62 - the # of swimmers who earned an individual medal
92 - gold medals won in individual events
78 - silver medals won in individual events
81 - bronze medals won in individual events
53 - swimmers who placed from 4th -8th in an individual event
32 - medal winning relay teams (15 GOLD - 6 SILVER - 11 BRONZE)
33 - the # of swims which fell inside the LAC All-Time Top 10 (we had 90 in ALL of 2018-19!)
4 - new Regional Championship qualifiers (Ella Bee, Clementina Bello, Lilah Jeffery, Elise Webb)
4 - new Provincial Championship qualifiers (Ella Bee, Declan Nolan, Ahmed El Tataway, Tristan Look-Hong)
3 - new All-Time Top 10 Performers (Hayden Bartoch, Ewan Shearer, Maggy Yang)
NOW, let's not rest on our laurels! We are only just getting started! GO LAC GO!
