Coach Jamey was thrilled this morning as he provided the rest of us with his thoughts on the meet. He said, “we just swam fast! We got better throughout the meet and the kids just swam really well. He believed the extra day of rest over Thanksgiving might have helped them out also.
Katie Revoir had a great 18th Birthday swimming weekend! Jamey’s exact words were “Lights Out!” This fast swimming earned her finals spots and best times in the 100 Fly, 50 Back, and 100 Back. Katie also swam best times in the 50 Fly and 100 Free. Happy Birthday Katie!
Seth Roach and Michael Tucker really pulled the biggest “weight” of the team each competing in 10 events AND earning 100 % Best times. I am always so completely impressed with this feat as it demonstrates such diversity and depth! Seth made top 10 In his 50 Back and 200 Back and made finals in 7 of these events. He also swim the 500 Free and the 1000! Michael made it back to finals in 6 of his events and placed in the top 10 in his 50 Fly.
Meredith Ashburn competed in 7 events and hit 5 best times. She made it back to finals in her 200 Free, 100 IM and the 50 Free.
