The SRVA High Performance Team and the Senior Group swam really fast in Seattle this last weekend. This was their Target Meet for fall 2019.
We started out a litlle slow on the first day as a team but we had some great individual performances. We were way better on the second day and really, really good on the final day.
Kyla Kelly had a great meet with all best times and new SRVA Team Records in the 15-16 100y and 200y Backstrokes.
Gabby Nguyen had a great meet with many best times. Her biggest drop occurred in the 200m Brst dropping 15 seconds, going from 2:58-2:43 making Sectionals and Futures cuts.
Eamon Helding had a great meet with great swims in the 100, 200 and 500 Freestyles His 100 dropped 2 seconds and 200 dropped almost 5 seconds.
Piper Stickler dropped 15 seconds in the 800 m Free making Sectionals
The last day of the meet in the prelims we had a whole bunch of heat winners in the 200's of the strokes:
Monica Beltran and Annemarie Hancock both dropped 3 seconds in the 200 Back.
Koen Garcia dropped 3 seconds in the 200 Fly
Clifford Yao dropped 3 seconds in the 200 Brst
Eamon won his 100 free heat and Kyla won her 100 free heat.
Christopher Guidi won his 1500 Heat dropping 10 seconds.
All won their heats.
Other good swims included:
Dillon Smith dropping 4 seconds in the 500.
Derek Halas dropping 2 seconds in the 500
Max Marley dropping substantal time in the Freestyles ranging from 100-1500.
Annemariee Hancock's 100 fly
Monica Beltran's 50 free and 100 Back
All in all, a good to great Fall 2019.
