Winter Junior Olympics A Storm!

Winter Storm For The Pacific Swimming Junior Olympics!

We had a great time and eveyone got wet!

Robbie Kuhnen kicked things off in the morning on Saturday with a great blast in the 200 back. However it is a 200 and that first 50 at 32 seconds took a toll. So added a couple seconds, and learned something about going out a little fast. But brought that speed at night with the lead off 50 back of 30 seconds!

The 10/under girls were flying fast on Saturday night with the 200 Med Relay. Juliana P (bk), Elena K (br), Eva B (fly) and Sabrina M (fr). While the 13/14 200 Med Relay boys crushed with Robbie K (bk), Adrian K (br), Drew N (fly) and Matthew P (fr).

Sunday featured Matthew P in both the 100 and 50 free! And a repeat fast 50 free in the 13/14 200 Free Relay, along with Drew N, Adrian K and Ron F (returning to the championship level)!

Juliana P and Elena K both threw down in the 100 back. While the times were again a little off in the cold conditions. Great things were learned on holding water and flip turns. The 10/un girls 200 Free Relay was lead off by Juliana (having swum the individal 50 in the morning), Elena K, Sabrina M and Sloane P!

A great first time experience for many, being at the Pacific Championships!

Sure this is just a start of great things!
