It Is Truckee Time
There has been a flurry of TTST racing last week and still now at Jr Nationals West in Federal Way, WA.  Here are many highlights from all the great swims!
Our 10 Under group of Aria, Oey, Walker, and Peyton were in form over their races in Sacramento!  Peyton dropped over five seconds in his 200 Free.  It is a nice showing of improvement in a longer distance for Peyton.  He just started with the pre-senior group for training .  Oey posted better times in his 25 Free, 50 Free, and a big three second drop in the 25 Back!  Walker dropped over four seconds in his 100 Free and posted a AAAA Time of 1:17.  That is fast swimming at 8 years old, go Walker!  Aria also dropped big in her 100 Free dropping over eight seconds.
Big standout racing from our 11 - 12 age groupers!  Maris put her hand on the wall of the 500 Free over eleven seconds faster than ever before, and broke the 7:00 barrier.  Hayley continued the improvements in Free with a best time in her 100 Free.  She also improved in the 100 Breast.  Anna dropped over eleven seconds off her 200 Breaststroke!  Kathryn got to the wall in her 100 Free over twelve seconds faster than ever before smashing the 1:20 barrier for the first time.  John continued his improvements in the 500 Free going a first ever 6:31.  Macallan was closer than ever to the sub 1:05 mark in his 100 Free posting a 1:07!
Our 13-14 group was also in fast form.  Callie posted a big drop in her 200 Fly showing her hard work and attention to detail in practice pays off.  Kara went for a perfect meet with best swims in all of her races.  She broke the 1:00 barrier in the 100 Free going :59 and dropped to a 2:15 in the 200 Free, that was an eleven second drop for her.  Newly qualified Senior Team swimmer, Hope, continued her improvements with best times in Breast, IM, and Free. Asher just missed cracking the 2:00 barrier in his fastest 200 Free ever going 2:00.69.  Caleb had a nearly perfect meet with 6/7 events coming in faster than he has ever swam before.  He is now only tenths from joing the Senior Team!  Get it Kaleb, there is a lane waiting for you in on Senior team.
15 and over was also in form.  Alyssa improved her 100 Fly.  Sydney smashed an old 200 Free time.  Cody went his fastest 200 Breast ever.
