ACAC Goes to Brentwood

Atomic City Aquatic Club (ACAC) went to Brentwood, TN to compete in the Excel Meet of Champs.  The swimmers results did not disappoint. 

Many swimmers excelled by making Southeasterns, winning races, and placing (top 8).  Abigail King (15) spearheaded these great accomplishments, winning two races, making Southeasterns in in all eight events she swam, and placing in all of her events.  Camden Gerchar (14) sped through the water, making Southeasterns in all eight events he swam and placing in seven events.  Andrew Chou (13) made Southeasterns in eight events, making the top eight in five events.  Zack Telep (17) made Southeasterns in seven events, won three, and placed in all seven events he raced. Aydan Skelton (12) made Southeasterns in seven events and placed in five. 

Other swimmers also had superlative days.  Rachel Aycock (17) made Southeasterns in six events, placing in six events and winning two.   Abbey Aycock (17) made Southeasterns in four events, placing in three events.  Sarah Walker (17) made Southeasterns in three events and placed in two.  Benjamin Helus (9) made Southeasterns in two events and placed in the 50 breast.  Keyara Colandro (14) made Southeasterns in the 200 Back and placed three times.  Rosalee Wenhame made Southeasterns and placed in the 200 Back.  Ella Kendall (15) made Southeasterns in the 100 Fly.  Dylan Hodge (12) made Southeasterns in the 100 Breast. 

Overall, Coach Andy Wagner said he was pleased with his swimmers’ efforts and is looking forward to more excellent swimming as ACAC continues its short course season.
