UASC Success in Ohio and Florida

Success in Ohio and Florida - A Tale of Two Temperatures

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our athletes who competed in the Kelly German Invitational and Naples T2 Aquatic Open over the weekend!

The Kelly German meet was a great success with 73% of UASC events resulted in lifetime bests (prelims and finals).

Junior Olympic qualifying times were recorded by Tia Bisdorf, Emmy Campbell, Natalie Foss, Allison Funge, Lexi Hartzell, Blaine Huddleston, Mary Martin, Erin Samora, Abby Oliphant, Riley Schuler, Ella Smith, Abigail Stelzer, Jack Boyle, Ben Campbell, Kipton Darding, Max Foster, Colin Kennedy, Jack Mahaffey, Braden Moss, Ragan Raj, TJ Rucker, Noah Wanke, and Eric Wu.

Event winners included Jack Boyle, Ben Campbell, Emmy Campbell, Lexi Hartzell, Blaine Huddleston, and Braden Moss.

The Naples Open saw our largest group attend the meet to date. While the format change skewed results somewhat - short course for prelims, long course for finals - we saw good effort and swims resulted in lifetime bests at 47% (prelims only).

Junior Olympic qualifying times were recorded by Kami Contakis, Audrey Ebel, McCall Freiburger, Hayden Hollingsworth, Riley Hollingsworth, Nora Nawrocki, Reid Caswell, Oliver Hulse, Vince Masters, Frankie Masters, and Cooper Petty.

Great job to everyone who competed!

We take a break from racing this weekend and will follow our "normal" practice schedule for a change!

The following week will bring two meets - the Cracker Barrel Last Ditch at GCSTO and the Becki Rine Swim Your Own Age Prelim/Final in Dayton. These meets will present our final regular season opportunities to prepare for Championship meets.

Please take advantage of them.

The Regional Championship meet will begin three weeks from Saturday!
