Eli has been an awesome swimmer this month. He brings his best effort to every practice and is a great teammate every day. He has made improvements in leaps and bounds in his swimming ability since he joined our group and even more so this past month! Keep up the good work Eli!

Age Group - Elliot Bartell and Kamryn Hoffman

Age Group Swimmers of the Month are Elliot Bartell and Kamryn Hoffman. Elliot had a great Mantas meet at the end of January.  He had four best times, and his 50 freestyle of a 26:26 placed him among the Mantas Top 10 in the 50 free in the 11 - 12 age group.  He continues to push himself at practice to be a better swimmer.  His hard work is paying off with the list of swims he has at the state meet. Matt and I can't wait to see how he ends this short course season.

Kamryn also had a great Mantas meet!  She was able to make her first state cut in the 50 butterfly.  She has pushed herself this season to try new events and is continuing to get better in all 4 strokes.  She is going to have a great MRC meet because she strives to be better.  She also has a great smile when she is happy with her swims.  She also made the list of Mantas Top 10 in the 50 butterfly for the 10 and under age group.  Matt and I can't wait to see what you two do at the end of the season.  Swim fast!

Senior - Catherine Bittner

The Senior Swimmer of the Month is Catherine Bittner.  Catherine came to Mantas with goals in mind after a great high school season.  During the month of January, she committed to working to reaching those goals.  At our Penguin Invite Catherine raced well and almost met her lifetime bests.  She is setting up a great end to the short course season.  Catherine is a great teammate at practice.  She cheers, smiles, and is always responsive to coaching.  We are so happy to have Catherine as a part of our team.
