UPDATE on CAST Athlete Adam England * How To Help
February 7, 2020 |
Dear IES Family,
On February 4th, CAST Senior athlete Adam England was involved in a
tragic accident that appeared at the time to have left him brain
dead. Surprisingly however, he has started to respond to stimuli
and has since been transferred to Harbor View Medical Center in the
Seattle area, where doctors are continuing to run tests and watch
for improvements.
In support of Adam and his family, a GoFundMe account has been
started by one of Adam's teammates:
"Adam is a talented swimmer, incredible teammate, and loved
friend ... Many of us wish we could do something to help his
family, and a good way to start is by raising money for
the costs of transportation, medical bills, and any other
expenses that come with heart breaking tragedies like this one.
Please donate, and help us fight alongside Adam ..."
