Aloha Aulea members,
Congratulations to all of our swimmers on a great senior meet yesterday. Special congratulations to Jeshua Grose for making his first ever AAA time in the 13-14 boys 100 breast and to Lexi Kershner for making her first senior champs qualifying time in the 200 IM.
Championship season is upon us! Coming up this Friday and Saturday (February 14-15) is the HHSAA championships on Maui for our high school aged swimmers. The following weekend (February 20-23rd) at UH are our local age group championships. Any changes to entries must be made by Monday, February 10th. Please check this link to see if your swimmer is entered in a relay or individual event: https://www.teamunify.com/hiasc/__doc__/state%20entries.pdf
From February 29th-March 1st at VMAC we have our Junior Age group championship meet. As a reminder, swimmers MAY NOT swim individual events at both age group and junior age group championships (relay only swimmers at age group championships may swim at junior age group championships). Sign up for JAGs must be completed by 02/17 and swimmers may only swim times listed in black writing (not red). Best of luck to all of our swimmers during championship season.

Thanks for taking the time to read this email. We know that the pool was a bit chilly towards the end of last week (76-77) but as soon as the north winds go away and we get our trades back it should return to it’s regular winter temp of 79-81. Many thanks to our hot chocolate crew for sustaining the swimmers through the cold winter nights!
Happy streamlines and Gooooo Aulea!
