1.  OSO FIT 5K and Fun Run
 

 

Calling all Nadadores, Family, and Friends!!


The Oso Fit 5K run is fast approaching! Come out for a day of fun and pick a race for your pace! As a Partnered Non-Profit, the City of Mission Viejo is sponsoring back all pre-registration fees to a non-profit of your choice.

Pre-Registration closes on Friday, February 21st!
  • Go to osofit5k.org
  • Hit the LARGE RED Button in the top Right Corner
  • ADD TO CART your race of choice
  • Select CART, fill in registration information
  • Select NADADORE FOUNDATION - SWIM under non-profits
 
 

The fun starts on Saturday, Feb. 29th from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center in Mission Viejo. All ages are welcome.

PRE-REGISTRATION FEES  (all ages must register):

Adults (Ages 13+) - $25.00
Kids (6-12) - $15.00
Children's 1/2 & 1/4 Mile - $5.00

T-shirts reserved for pre-registered participants only. All participants must complete a waiver

2.  Nadadores Check-Off Challenge

The Check-Off Challenge is an MVN event for swimmers to complete 18 pool events swim and an sanctioned open water during the 2020 calendar year.

It challenges all levels of swimmers. Swimmers who complete all the events will receive a special towel with the event logo.

Pool will be open for open for warm-up on Wednesday, April 22, from 2 to 7 p.m.

On Building Team Rapport


Everyone, swimmers and coaches, state that participation in this sport is one of the things in life that they like best.


You all want to improve your skills and to have positive and more productive practices the quickest way you can have a happier and more productive practices is to help one another.


Here are some "happy workout suggestions" to help you make this happen.


1. Think positive thought today- make someone else feel good too.


2. Ask the coach what you should do to make something better, and then really try.


3. Remind yourself that your coach is trying to reach your goals.


4. Give 100 percent focus and effort today.


5. Watch a teammate and compliment him or her on something done well.


6. If anyone is discouraged, try to cheer them up.


7. Remember upcoming events and important events, encourage swim meets to others!


8. Set a good example by approaching sets, drills, kicks with full focus and intensity.


9. Stand tall-be prepared and ready to go.


10. Come to practice with all the personal equipment you might need.
