Blackshirts Finish Runner-up at WIAA State Meet

Congratulations to the Blackshirt swimming and diving team on their 2nd place finish at this weekend's WIAA State Meet.  The Blackshirts battled throughout the meet but ultimately fell to Middleton by 6 points.

"Our boys did about everything they could today, we just came up a little short.  Fifteen of our seventeen entries swam faster than last weekend's sectional qualifying meet and the two that were slower were only by .10.  The swimmers, coaches, and parents should be proud as they came together, competed together, and gave a great team effort", said coach Blaine Carlson.

"Losing close meets like this is always tough to swallow, but that is the way it goes.  Our group will be stronger because of the experience and competition from this meet as they all move forward."
