As you may know, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring the outbreak and any new developments related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation, and our priority today, as it is at any time, is the safety and well-being of our swimmers, coaches and families.
Like many entities, the Irvine Swim League is closely evaluating guidance from local, state, federal, and global officials as we plan for our summer swim season. As of today, based on the guidance of government agencies, we intend to proceed with our season as planned. However, the impact of the virus on our community remains fluid and we will continue to follow the guidance of our public health agencies to ensure any decision we make is well-informed, fact-based, and in the best interest of our coaches, swimmers and their families.
In the event that we need to cancel the season as a result of this outbreak, teams will issue a refund of your full registration fee.
On behalf of our entire Executive Board, we appreciate your trust and confidence.
