Dear Swimmers and Parents:

Due to changes in recommendation from the CDC, we will not be having Aquatics programs including swim team practices at any of our branches. As of today all YMCA of South Florida branches are close until at least March 29, 2020. Some branches will be doing limited children services.

Please read the following email from our corporate office.

The Coaches

Dear Valued YMCA Member:

Please know that the Y is here for the community during this uncertain time. We hope that you and your family are staying healthy and safe. As part of our commitment to keeping our members safe, the YMCA of South Florida will be temporarily closing all of our Family Centers through March 29. We are suspending all fitness, health and wellness centers, aquatics, youth sports and program services with the exception of School’s Out Camp with priority for First Responders, Hospital and Healthcare providers. YMCA Preschools at Homestead, Allapattah and Hollywood will remain in operations as well.

School’s Out Camp is currently available at the Homestead YMCA, Weston YMCA, Pembroke Pines YMCA, South Dade YMCA and Greater Hollywood YMCA. Find out more at https://ymcasouthflorida.org/schools-out.

For Members who would like to work out from home, we have partnered with Les Mills to provide a FREE streaming platform for all YMCA members. You can access 95 workout options across 8 categories through the link below, or through the YMCA SFL APP link below. The online workouts will remain open and available as long as the Coronavirus situation continues.

As a nonprofit organization that provides so many important programs and services to all segments of our community, we appreciate your support and continued membership. Your membership allows us to maintain all the vital, life-changing work of the Y in our community. In time, we will be back to full operations in our centers to serve you. Until then, please consider continuing your membership as a way to “give back and support others” through the Y.

If you have any questions, please visit our website for important information. Know that we are monitoring the situation and will update you on any changes. Together, we will do our best to keep our community safe and healthy. Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Y Family

Stay safe. Stay healthy.
