Dear Steel City Aquatics Members,
As you are aware, we are encouraging ALL of our active members (parents) to join our "Members only- Steel City Aquatics Facebook page AND for both parents and swimmers, you can follow all of our official Steel City Aquatics social media accounts (Instagram, facebook, Tic Tok, Twitter). By following these sites, you will receive up to date information, challenges, Live sessions, and activities that we are sending out for all of our active members to participate in- all are optional but we are encouraged that these activities is a great way to keep our family close while also sharing good information to stay healthy (physically, nutrition wise, and mentally) while also giving us all a change to communicate with our steel city aquatics family during this social distancing time.
This week, we launched our live "Dry Land" session, led by Coach Eddie, and will be offered M, W, F from 4-4:30 PM every week. Reminder: you have to download ZOOM and then you can click on Coach Eddie's Dryland Class link which will connect you into the class.
That Said- USA Swimming sent out a notification to remind everyone that the USA Swimming insurance for all of our swimmers is not covered for activites that are not directly supervised in person. It is with that in mind, that I want to remind everyone that the activities we are offering are for the use of our active members and their families (Minors needing permission from their parents/gardians) but offered as a courtesy- and are optional for all. Participating in these activities and offerings are soly at the participant's own risk and By participating in our on line program, you understand and agree to hold Steel City Aquatics harmless of any and all accidents or injuries that may occur as a result of participating in the optional webcast dryland offerings That is streamed for the interests and optional offerings of our athletes and parents.

Steel City Aquatics Dryland and On-Line Challenge offerings
This optional on line exercise program has been created to help independently motivate home exercising and activity during the covid - 19 social distancing time period. It is an optional activity offered but in no way is this a requirement. The participation that occurs is solely at your own risk and for all minors, must have parental Consent to join. By participating in our on line program, you understand and agree to hold Steel City Aquatics harmless of any and all accidents or injuries that may occur as a result of participating in the optional webcast dryland offerings That is streamed for the interests and optional offerings of our athletes and parents.
Also, You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it.
