 GCY Dryland Workout of the Day - it's YOGA Wednesday!

Hello Everyone!

Even though we are out of the water, it's critical that we keep working out and staying in shape!  Please keep working out!  We also have virtual workouts through the YMCA of Greensboro's Website!  There are lot's of options if we are late getting out our swim team specific one:

We have a virtual YOGA class today at 1pm and every Wednesday at 1pm until further notice!  Here are the details:

And here’s a great dryland workout to do this morning:

  • Jumping Jacks (30), Squat Jumps (25), Push-ups (20), Deep Squats (15), V-Ups (10), Burpees (5)
    • THEN COUNT DOWN and complete this pattern, for an extra challenge GO BACK UP!
      • 30-25-20-15-10-5
      • 24-20-16-12-8-4
      • 18-15-12-9-6-3
      • 12-10-8-6-4-2
      • 6-5-4-3-2-1

So the 30's go down by 6's, 25 go down by 5's, the 20 go down by 4's, the 15 go down by 3's, the 10 go down by 2's and the 5 go down by 1's!
