2020 Summer Practice Info!

NAAC Summer Practice Info June & July 2020

Beginning June 1st, 2020, we will host practices at The Links Pool @ 7100 New Albany Links Dr, 43054.  The pool is just to the North of the Clubhouse.  This schedule is subject to change and we will do our best to broadcast any schedule changes ahead of time this summer so that we can all plan accordingly.  Once the NAHS pool is open there WILL be some changes.

By attending NAAC practices this Summer, your swimmer is voluntarily participating.  NAAC has reviewed all re-opening guidelines to create our Return to Practice protocols.  That being said, although we will be taking preventative measures to reduce the spread of Covid-19, we cannot guarantee the health and safety of our members.  Returning to practice should, and must be, YOUR choice and what is in the best interest of YOUR family.  No practice group spots will be lost, no meets will be missed, and no coach will take concern should your family choose not to participate this summer.  Please review our protocols with your athletes, as your athletes will be the ones required to follow procedures during practice.  This serves as additional notice in regard to Covid-19 and our NAAC Medical & Liability Waivers.

Summer 2020 potential NAHS practices will be updated as soon as we receive the go-ahead from the school, and we will update the July 2020 practice schedule week-to-week as we hope to hear something from the school in July.

Fri July 3 through Sun July 5th is OFF for NAAC practices - please enjoy the Holiday weekend!

Summer end dates:  Our end date plans for practices this summer follow, and as with so many things over the last 4+ months these plans are subject to change.  Our 4 beginner groups (Breaker, Ripple, Wave & Tsunami) will be through with summer practices on Fri July 31.  Our next 2 groups (Hurricane & Typhoon) will be through with summer practices Fri August 14.  We plan on resuming 2020-21 season practices for all 6 of our AG groups just after Labor Day, on Tues September 8th.

Our Sr Groups (Cyclone, Elite & College) will have a short break, from Sun August 16 through Sun August 23, and will resume 2020-21 season practices Mon Aug 24.

Full regularly updated Summer 2020 NAAC Protocols are posted HERE.
