Camp Covid - Week 1:

From Coach Stefan:

We have had a very exciting first week back in the water and all the campers had a great time and did really well maintaining social distancing in the pool. Particularly Camps 3 to 6 (our younger athletes) did superbly well following face covering protocols and listening to the coaches.

Camps 1 and 2 need to do a better job wearing their face coverings, when not in the water, and the coaches will be much more attentive going forward. We would appreciate our parents' help in reinforcing this policy at home as well and when dropping off and picking up swimmers. Thank you for your help in keeping all of us safe and taking the mandate seriously!

Overall we had a splendid time and all the coaches are very impressed with the attentiveness, commitment and attendance of each athlete and the willingness to make this a new beginning with more focus and higher goals!

I am also hopeful that restrictions are going to continue to soften in Alameda and Contra Costa County and that very soon we can get everyone back into the water!

Well done and keep up the great work!

Camp 4& 5 are slowly getting back into swimming:

PST Mentoring Program:

The mentoring program has started! However it is an ongoing program so if your swimmer is interested in being mentored by an older PST athlete or would like to be a mentor to a younger swimmer, they are welcome at any point. Help Us Become a Safe Sport Recognized Club:

In addition to below, achieving Safesport recognition will give us higher priority in grant considerations.

PST is committed to creating an abuse-free, safe, healthy, and positive environment for all of our members. An important feature of this program is that our swimmers (age 12 and older) and parents complete Safe Sport Training for Swimmers and Parents, respectively. The training is about 20 minutes, well done and broadly applicable, even outside of the swimming environment. You can complete the training as a USA Swimming member or nonmember:
