CTA Seniors complete 20 mile Lake Tuscaloosa swim

Today, members of the Senior group swam roughly the 20 mile length of Lake Tuscaloosa.  It was a huge success.  We had 3 groups of swimmers swim 3 different sections of the lake in a relay format.  They began this morning at 8:00AM from the landing by the Dam, and finished at 3:45PM at the landing by Binion's Creek.

This is the first time eveer that this lake had been swum like this in one day.  We hope that this will be a successful fundraiser for both our team and Secret Meals.   Please consider making a donation if you have not already done so at GoFundMe (search for Crimson Tide Aquatics) The swimmers had a great time, and we hope to do again with rising future CTA senior swimmers.

We want to thank Mrs. Donavan, Mrs. Spears, and Mr. Smith for helping out this morning, as well as Sloane Donovan for kayaking for the last group after all her swimming this morning.
