2019-2020 Short Course Season

Couple important notes

  1. No practice JULY 3rd 
  2. New Practice schedule times for Senior and Advance Age Group for July!
  3. No one should pay pool fees come July 1st. The is responsibility of the team and if asked to do so please contact coach George or coach Sean.
  4. Dry-land opportunities explained below!
  5. Please keep the guidelines below in mind this week. MASKS ARE A PRIOTITY even to dry-land activities!
  6. We ask that swimmers come to practice 10-15 min prior to practice start time to get situated and get lanes.
  7. Estimated only 1 week of this schedule.

  9. On Deck App: If you have not done so already, please download the "on Deck App" on your smartphone and follow the step-by-step instructions to register your phone and e-mail (for free) with the teams account to get push e-mails and texts from the coaches. You will get information at the moment’s notice that we do, like pool closure and quick updates.

Senior Group

Monday – Tuesday 8:15 to 9:15am

Wednesday – Thursday 6:40am to 8:00am

Wednesday 4:00pm to 4:45pm

Advanced Age Group

Monday – Tuesday 8:15 to 9:15am

Wednesday – Thursday 6:40am to 8:00am

Age Group 1

Monday – Thursday 3:45 to 4:45pm

Age Group 2

Monday – Thursday 3:45 to 4:45pm

 

Dry-Land Opportunities – Bring your masks!

In cooperation with USA Swimming guidelines and the CDC dry land is not a priority to have for the swimmers during these times. Coach John and I have made a community run group and have been meeting 2 times a week. Our goal is be able to help people a little more in their pursuit into a healthier lifestyle.

These groups are open and completely free to everyone! On Tuesday we meet at the Bluffton track for a group/individual track workout (I provide the workout for everyone) and on Thursday we run out of Pulseology gym for a group run (Paces vary by groups in the group run).

These are great chances to add a little extra to all the swimmers that is outside of the water so that they can get a little more fitness. Also, a great chance for parents to join in on the training!

Tuesday @ the Bluffton High School Track 6:30pm – whenever you are done (7:30ish). 250 He McCracken Cir, Bluffton SC

Thursday @ PULSEology Gym 6:30pm – whenever you are done (7:30ish) depending on the distance you are running.

  • Each swimmer must have a daily ($4) or monthly pass ($25) to enter the facility UNTIL JUNE 30TH
  • All lanes will not be guaranteed because we will be swimming during public hours, but we potentially have use of all six lanes depending on availability.
  • We must go by the county guidlines.
  • If the swimmer is experiencing sniffles, headaches, signs of illness, or anything that can lead to being sick, they will not be permitted to come into the facility.
  • NO hanging out on the pool deck – once the swimmer enters facility they are required to jump right in as soon as possible even if practice has not begun.
  • Everyone must bring their own equipment and cannot leave anything at the facility, or it will be thrown away. I have gear bags that were left at the pool and please do not stress over equipment as we will go over what is needed as time passes.
  • Everyone is required to wear a facemask while entering and leaving the facility.
  • NO spectators – meaning parents are not allowed on deck. All swimmers must be dropped off and picked up in a timely manner.
