Additional Hot Spot Updates for Cook County
Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin have been added to the Cook County Travel Restriction list.
Please click here for a description of the county policy and a full list of all 22 states.
Athletes & Coaches traveling to these states (as well as all international travel) for a stay longer than 24 hours must self-quarantine for 14 days upon returning home before returning to in-person workouts. While we understand that many families have vacation plans in some of these states, there is no wiggle room in the policy for us to allow for travel between personal residences across state lines.
We ask that you keep the team informed of any travel plans, especially to states on this list, as the safety of our team family is first and foremost a priority and keeping a healthy team - both physically and financially - is important for our long term survival. There may be temptation to not completely disclose travel locations to avoid the 14-day quarantine, but this will not be in the best interest of our team at large, especially in the event of exposure. Vacations are wonderful things and very much an integral part of psychological & emotional balance - we simply ask that all our team families take into account the larger family and help us regulate our program responsibly and within the scope of the county guidelines.
As a reminder - athletes in self-quarantine are not allowed to prorate monthly dues. Currently active athletes are allowed to take August off for a $50 retainer. Please let the business office know if you are going to take an inactive month for August - Email Kristen - Business Manager.
There have been a recent increase in positive cases shutting down local recreational facilities. Please make every effort to mask up and stay 6 feet apart even while away from the pool - we can be community leaders as parents, coaches, athletes and families - just by demonstrating our social responsibility.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
