2020 Fall Swim

Fall Swim Is Here!

Fall Swim will kick off Monday August 17th

Fall swimming will look a little different this year as we are still only allowed 2 swimmers per lane. Because of the lane restriction we will be continuing a schedule similar to the summer clinic. The 10 and Unders will have a choice of either M/W or T/Th with alternating Fridays.  The Senior Group and Presenior Group will be swimming 5 days a week, we will have multiple offerings for these age groups. The coaches will determine which group is best based on school schedules and ability. Instead of a lump sum seasonal fee like in the past all fees will be charged through your club accounts monthly recurring billing, this will allow us to have a waiting list to fill spots as swimmers drop out.

For the 10 and Unders we will only be having 2 swimmers per lane for a total of 12 swimmers per practice, and a total of 24 swimmers total per age group in order to comply with the social distancing guidelines.  I realize swimming only 2 to 3 days a week may not be ideal, but with only 2 swimmers per lane this was the only way to accommodate as many swimmers as we could while maintaining the social distance requirements. If the state/county guidelines change, we will be able to adjust those numbers.

The age groups and practice times will be as follows:

6 and Under’s: 3:45 to 4:15pm

7 & 8’s: 4:15 to 5:00pm

9 & 10’s: 5:00 to 6:00pm

For the older kids it will look a little different: (Coaches will determine group placement)

Senior 1: 5:00 to 6:30am

Senior 2: 6:30 to 8:00am

Senior 3: 3:30 to 5:00pm

Dryland: 5:30 to 6:30 – All Groups

Presenior 1: Dryland – 4:30 to 5:00pm, Swim – 5:00 to 6:30pm

Presenior 2: Dryland – 6:00 to 6:30pm, Swim – 6:30 to 7:30pm

For your reference: Senior group swimmers are generally the high school age swimmers or the top level 13-14’s, and Pre-senior swimmers are the middle school age kids with the top level 9-10’s.
