GTS Update Week of Aug. 31st

Hi All,

 

Just wanted to send out a few updates before we begin this week. For one, just a reminder to sign up in the app for practices your swimmers are going to attend. We’ve had a few glitches with the Club Greenwood app lately, so please know that even if you don’t see a practice available to sign up, we are still having practice if it corresponds to the schedule and you haven’t heard anything to the contrary. Thank you all for your patience as we work to get those glitches sorted out.

 

Schedule:

We are beginning our September schedule tomorrow, which is listed below for reference. Just a note that Fish and Shark as well as Senior Prep practices Monday - Thursday do start at 6:15 PM even though they are shown to start at 6 PM in the app. We are only able to book in 30 minute increments in the app, so just know that 6:15 PM is the correct start time. Similarly, Senior group will end practice at 6:15 PM rather than 6 PM Monday - Thursday.

 

Fish and Shark Groups:

Swim Monday - Thursday 6:15 - 7:30 PM Indoor Pool

 

Sr. Prep Group:

Swim Monday - Thursday 6:15 - 7:30 PM Outdoor Pool

Swim Friday 4:30 - 5:30 PM Indoor Pool

 

Senior Group:

Swim Monday - Thursday 4:30 - 6:15 PM Indoor Pool

Swim Friday 6:00 - 7:15 AM Indoor Pool

 

Dryland:

We hope everyone enjoyed getting an opportunity to try out a group fitness class or two last week. For now, we would like to have Senior and Sr. Prep groups continue participating in group fitness classes throughout the week in lieu of a formal dryland. That being said, it will have more structure moving forward than it did last week. Each week, we will send out either one class we’d like to have our swimmers go to twice or two classes that we’d like everyone to attend one time each that week. We are excited about the variety this will allow us to provide in our drylands, and with everyone on different school schedules with various mixes of in-person and online, it will also allow our swimmers the flexibility to do dryland at times that are most convenient for them.

 

For this week, the classes we’d like to have Senior and Sr. Prep groups participate in are BODYSTEP and Pilates Mat. The schedule for each is listed below.

 

BODYSTEP:

Monday 12:15 - 1:15 PM

Tuesday 9:30 - 10:30 AM

Wednesday 5 - 6 PM

Thursday 9:30 - 10:30 AM

Friday 12:15 - 1:15 PM

Saturday 9:15 - 10:15 AM

 

Pilates Mat:

Monday 6 - 7 AM, 1 - 2 PM

Tuesday 8 - 9 AM, 11 AM - 12 PM

Friday 6 - 7 AM

Saturday 8 - 9 AM
