Swimmers and Parents

We are so happy to get back to swimming again at the Vancouver Aquatic Centre.  We have been working very hard to make sure we can offer a great program .  CDSC has been one of the leading programs in swimming within Canada for over 45 years.  In the past, CDSC has produced more provincial champions, National medallists and Olympians than almost any other Canadian Team.  We see some great prospects coming up through the program and are excited to build on the successes from the past and look towards great expectations for the future of our swimmers!    We will help all of our swimmers reach their goals while keeping them safe as well.

Over these past few months, you have continued to amaze us in your dedication and determination!  It has been 6 months since we were last in the VAC, yet we have seen most of you continue to take part in our zoom dryland, yoga and then swimming again in June.  We have seen more than 100+ swimmers continue to train online or in the water over these past months and we know that this will help everyone in their development.

We will provide a continuation of some great coaching as in the past and throughout the season, as things change and progress, we will also work at getting back to some sort of regular groups.  Our coaches will be evaluating our swimmers and make sure that they are able to get to a group that will push them and be compatable with their capabilities and their commitment level displayed.

The first day of practice will be Wednesday, September 16th for those scheduled on that day.

Please follow the instructions sent to you for registration, including wearing masks at all times when out of the pool, keeping physical distance and entering downstairs by the east parking lot about 10 minutes before YOUR practice starts.  Swimmers should wear their suits in and out of practice and minimize any time in the public washrooms or change areas.  NO parents will be allowed in the building until conditions or regulations are changed based on the CDC or City.
